General
The following sales terms and conditions apply to all offers, sales, orders and deliveries from Den Kinesiske Købmand. The conditions apply in cases where no other written agreement has been entered into between the buyer and Den Kinesiske Købmand.
All contracts are available in danish. It is not possible to access the contract subsequently via our website. Should you need to receive a new copy of the contract per e-mail, please contact us.
Prices
All prices are in Danish Kroner and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. The total price of your order is displayed and will be the amount due to payment.
All prices are subject to errors. All products are subject to sold out or discontinuation. We reserve the right to reduce or cancel orders.
Sales of goods to Greenland, Norway and the Faroe Islands are VAT-free.

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping
All goods are shipped from Denmark.
Delivery
All orders will be shipped within 1-2 working days after the order is received, provided no other information has been given in the order process. However, in connection with holidays and during busy periods, longer delivery times may occur. We do not ship orders on weekends and public holidays. Should your goods, against expectations, not have arrived within 5 working days after receiving an order confirmation, we ask you to please contact us either through our contact for or by e-mail. Please enclose your order number.
In the event that the package is returned to us without an address error or the recipient does not pick up the package, GLS will charge return package postage which corresponds to the weight of the package. We reserve the right to charge this fee from the initial order amount reserved. The fee is subject to change from GLS and if you wish to receive the invoice of the fee, we are happy to send it. The time of delivery will only apply from the moment the item is in the buyer's possession in accordance with the danish Purchase Act.
In the event that you enter your delivery address incorrectly, so that the package is redirected to another address by the shipping company, you will be charged the fee for the redirection of 55,00 DKK. This fee can be paid to our company account: Danske Bank 3409 12828888 or MobilePay: 31840
Pickup at our stores
If you have chosen to pick up your order at our stores, the order must be picked up no later than 3 days after your order has been confirmed as ready for pick-up. If the order is not picked up within the abovementiones timeframe, the order will be cancelled and your money returned.
Payments
You can pay by Invoice, MobilePay or by card (Dankort / Visa-Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Elektron and JCB). Payment will only be deducted from your account once your order has been shipped and your chosen payment method has been validated. The system encrypts all your card information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction with PBS.
Withdrawal rights
Following the regulations of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, there is no right of return / cancellation for food items.
For all other items, if you regret your purchase through our online shop, you can cancel the purchase within 14 days. You can therefore, at your own expence, return the item(s) to us at the address mentioned below.
Before sending goods back, we will ask you to inform us. You can use our contact form or send an e-mail to: webshop@denkinesiskekoebmand.dk. We would appreciate to hear the reason of regret. Once we have received the returned item, we will refund you the price of the item (excl. shipping / freight), provided that the item is returned in the same condition and quantity as stated in the return.
The right of withdrawal ceases if the product has suffered damage or has been damaged due to improper use by the Customer. In order for us to take the product back, it must be in such good condition that it can be sold again at a normal price. The item must be in original packaging, undamaged and salable again. The right of withdrawal ceases if you have used the product in any way where it is obvious that the use has significantly reduced the product's sales value.
As the original packaging is essential for certain goods to be salable, this may mean that the item cannot be considered returned in substantially the same condition and quantity if the packaging is not included. Protective packaging or foil must also not be broken. Always remember to store the packaging or not to open the product, until you're sure that you will keep the item.
Reclamation
Your reclamation rights are valid for 2 years after your receival of the product. If the item is defective, you are welcome to complain in writing. The Customer must send their reclamation request within a reasonable time after the discovery of defect. For products with a limited shelf life, the right of complaint follows from the product's natural BBD (Best Before Date) or Expiration date. Please describe the defect in detail for a smooth and fast process.
If the defect occurs or appears within the first 3 months (90 days) after delivery, there is a presumption that the defect was also there at the time of delivery. In this case, we will repair or replace the product free of charge, and return the item and reimburse any return any shipping costs you may have had.
If on the other hand, the defect occurs during the remaining 21 months, it is in principle up to the Customer to prove that the defect was already present at the time of delivery.
In the event of a reclamation, please return the item in original packaging. The item must be sent to our webshop address at the address below. In addition, a copy of the invoice and a defect description must be attached.
The right of reclamation ceases if the product has suffered damage or has been damaged by improper use.
If it turns out that the item is not broken, or that the defect cannot be detected from the customer's defect desctription, the item will be returned. The return cost in this case will fall upon the Customer.
If defects are found, the item is repaired or exchanged, and sent without shipping charges, back to the Customer.
